Writing for Reflections, Artist Form

REFLECTIONS is the journal section of our art gallery, exploring the enduring themes of legacy and lineage. We invite writers to contribute original work that considers the people, places, histories, and inheritances that shape who we are and what we leave behind.

We welcome all forms:

02.Creative nonfiction

03.Critical essays

04.Artist interviews

05.Reviews and exhibition responses

06.Experimental or hybrid writing

We are especially interested in work that engages with art, memory, ancestry, cultural traditions, mentorship, archives, intergenerational relationships, and the evolving meanings of legacy.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINE:

01.Submit original, unpublished work.

02.Essays should generally be 800–2,500 words

03.Include a brief author bio (50–100 words).Simultaneous submissions are welcome; please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.

04.Send your submission as a Word document or PDF with the subject line: REFLECTIONS Submission – [Your Name] to info@ajanakugallery.com
